Thursday ends with sounds of thunder and a pink rainbow

Was it supposed to rain today? That was the question being asked early this evening as light showers and thunderstorms surprised many residents. The rain was also accompanied by a pink sunset and rainbow, captured above by Matt Hartman of Glassellland (aka Glassell Park). Paul Antico also captured a shot of what he described as an “eerie pink rainbow” from his vantage point in Mt. Washington.
