Street artists turn Echo Park building into a giant canvas

A group of Los Angeles street artists known as Cyrcle are painting a super-sized graphic on the exterior of Bedrock Studios in Echo Park. Neighbors and passing motorists have watched as painters held aloft on a boom lift began to outline the work last week on the exterior of the brick building on Allesandro Street near Glendale Boulevard. When completed by the end of the month, the work will feature the words “Magic is Real,” according to a Bedrock employee.

  1. I guess that’s their idea of art… same way the dude that threw those shoes up in the power line did.

  2. Is that the finished image?

  3. Guessing it’s not done yet since the article says “When completed by the end of the month, the work will feature the words ‘Magic is Real,’ according to a Bedrock employee.” It’s August 6th.

  4. I’m just grateful that it’s not another lame neo-socialist allergory like half of the older murals in the area!

  5. boring… Cyrcle needs to add some soul to their work. It all looks like graphic design
