A man in broke into my neighbour’s home several weeks ago. He cut the screen of the kitchen window and crawled inside. He was wearing a motorcycle helmet. The elderly homeowner was in the kitchen. Burglar announced he was from the DWP and was there anyone else in the home. She replied that there were people upstairs, and he turned and left the way he came in. She watched him take off on a motorcycle. White helmet. Middle of the day, he had parked his bike right in front of their home.
